They say todays R&B is not what it used to be, Matt Harmony begs to differ. He comes with pure God given talent, he is a mix of a Contemporary R&B artist and a classic vocalist in the mold of Prince or Michael Jackson. Those are humungous names to be compared to, but Matt gladly welcomes anyone who doubts that he can.
Matt started performing at the age of 13, he sang in a church choir at Little Bethlehem Narrow Way Church in Covington, Ga. People were blown away by the soulful voice and sensual sound of such a young man. In the summer of 2009, he began gaining his first recording experience. He sold 1500 copies locally of his first single "Kiss You Goodnight". He then started touring and performing at a lot of local venues and open mics in the Atlanta, Carolina and Tennessee.

His consistent work ethic landed him his first record deal in 2012 with local label Get Money Records. That deal lasted for 3 years and spawned a few records that did well locally such as, Break Of Dawn, Sexaholic and Girlfriend. This period of free agency allowed Matt to write songs for local artists and as social media emerged, find different ways to market himself. The creation of cover songs by Michael Jackson and others led to Matt going viral and that exposure gained him his current distribution contract with Sony Orchard Distribution.
