Born in New York and moving to Atlanta as a mid-teen RPG Shad embodies the best of both worlds. He's a extremely diverse artist with a very unique sound. From the get-go he realized that he wanted to be an entertainer, his first project "Spaced Out" was genuinely a fascinating piece of music. His Jamaican heritage and eclectic taste in music help him create a crude and genuine sound. His harmonies can range from dark to enthusiastic to form a very different style. In 2020, he became a M37 MGMT client. The result in the partnership was over 200k streams. His top three songs are; “Wipeout” a fun summer tune which came out in May of last year (5/20). With a total of 187k streams it is clear to see how much fans adore this upcoming artist. His second most popular song is “For Real” a ultra-vibing club banger with a total of 42k streams. His third top song is “Dreaming”, it was released January of this year (5/21). The song Dreaming is a dark ballad and was inspired by the death of his mother.
